Hi everyone!

As you know from Vanilla post we are throwing birthday party tomorrow for Pepper, Cinnamon and Vanilla. Every one of us has to preper something to eat and make yourself gorges. I am making birthday cake and I hope girls will love it. It's gonna be a bit unusual, very summery like the whether today.

As always I was very busy with my Little ONE so I left most of thinks to do on the last minute but that is  normal recently.

Power porridge for busy days

I always need breakfast. I like having a good start of the day and I would never go without it. Skipping lunch is not a problem but breakfast? No chance :-). Unfortunately my mini flavour doesn't seem to share this idea with me - at least not yet. Maybe when she's a bit older. I still let her try what I'm eating. I usually have muesli or porridge. Nowadays I swap milk for yogurt - natural or fruit - or almond milk just to keep my first meal of the day interesting. But I always want it to be filling and healthy.
So here's one of my favourites at the moment: almond porridge with apricots.
I use 50g of oats which I stir into roughly 200ml of unsweetened almond milk (use more if you want it to be creamier and softer). Let it bubble for a few minutes but make sure you stir it so it doesn't burn or stick to the pot. Put a pinch of salt and one teaspoon of sugar in. Brown one tablespoon of flaked almonds and one teaspoon of sunflower seeds together in a pan with no oil. When the porridge is creamy enough for your taste fill your bowl, sprinkle almonds and one to two tablespoons of dried chopped apricots on top. And then enjoy :-)!

And again tuna salad with diffrent ingredients :)

Hello all, today I decided to change my husbands menu. I made him a tuna salad before but now I changed  some ingredients, just to intersperse his meal. To make my salad you will need:

-pasta,about 200 g
-6 gherkins, about
-1 onion
-2 tins of tuna in spring water,
-4 boiled eggs
-1 tbs of mayo
-1 tbs of mustard
-4 tbs of yogurt
-salt and pepper

Boil your pasta, add tuna, chopped onion, eggs and gherkins. To make sauce mix mayo, mustard and yogurt together, add some salt and pepper, mix it and add it all to your pasta. Mix it all well again and that is it, ready to eat.  As always quick and easy and tasty.

Enjoy

Three days weekend - from Christchurch (Avon Beach) to Beaulieu to Applemore

Time flies when you're having fun... And so did this weekend (well I count Friday as well as I had a day off :-) ). And what was so special about this one? Well I got ready for my holiday in a weeks time - I bought three essentials for myself: two bikinis and sun cream -, we went to the beach and I tried my new Calvin Klein bikini and we also went to the New Forest. It was great!
So what do you think about my choice?
Going to the beach is always great - it feels like you've been on holiday :-). I have to say I miss lying on the beach with my book just enjoying the sun a bit but seeing my little one having such a great time is even better! My little Toblerone wasn't quite sure about the whole beach thing at first but once she found out how much fun it is to get messy with the sand and her bucket nothing could stop her.
And then there was the water. It was a bit cold - although I saw a few people actually swimming. The waves were strong enough to get my beach princess nearly completely wet and even I had a slightly wet back lol. I chose a beach with good facilities - parking close to the actual beach, toilets and baby changing not too far away and a cafe/ restaurant close by in case my sandwiches might lack eaters. Unfortunately they were doing some work at one side of beach - haven't found out  why - so the loud machines were a bit annoying and the actual area to enjoy was smaller than usually. But still a great day :-).
And as that was not enough for one weekend I went to Beaulieu the next day and had cream tea with my little one and my mum in our favourite tea room/garden centre. "Indulge yourself" hubby said.
And as that was still not enough we went to the New Forest again today enjoyed the warmth of the sun, the quietness of the woods and the smell of summer...
...plus a yummy homemade cake! (I really like that cake - it's with cream, bananas, cherries and chocolate - but it's a cheater ... It is Dr Oetker lol.)

I hope this week will be as fab as my weekend was! Already looking forward to Friday ... Five days to go girls :-)!!!

Delish Elder flower drink done just in 24 hours...

It's Elder flower time in England now.
Don't miss out !

This 3 gigantic bottles of goodness were made back home on my holiday about 2 weeks ago now...
My Dad and Me, went to find nice organic Elder flower in the woods with Bruno and Aisha.
They were so excited to go for a walk.
This is the meadow, where I celebrated my 18th Birthday few years ago...
Lovely memories ...playing rugby and football - Boys against Girls ;P in a day time...
Singing around the fire in the evening, joking, spending time with friends before our food was ready to eat.
Going home after midnight with lights in our hands...listening for every weird noise around...
This time, just enjoying views and getting Elder flower.
Am sure you recognize Elder flower bush...We picked flowers...but there were many left , so my Dad can come back at the end of Summer to collect Elder flower berries and make nice wine from them.
So you can use flowers this time of year and what is left over ...is great wine material ;D
So here is the recipe for 24 hour drink. It is so easy...

15-20 Elder flower
35 g of sugar
1 lemon cut up in circles
and 4 liters of water

Put all ingredients into a jar with cover on.
Place jar on the window seal and let sun work on it....It was about 30 C back home, so drink was so hot...but that is good, because all flavours mix so much better.
Stir it every few hours with wooden spoon.
24 hours later , strain the drink, pour into bottles and put them in the fridge to cool.
This is how we have it...with cherries complimenting the glass
I like to keep some flowers in , it makes it look nice.

Enjoy like we do...

I found bit of Paris...

in Slovakia :) on my holiday...

Paris Boutique was very refreshing to find in my home town.
I ran up the stairs , and here I am
Looking around....chatting to a very friendly owner of the shop....
Couldn't help myself and bought this two t-shirts from the Paris ;)
shopping boutique. I could also see myself straightaway to wear these with jeans and blazer , nice hills and belt for even casual and sexy evening look ;p
Also liked a blouse in the other shop in town...Enough shopping for one day ;) I thought.

I will be back to Paris shopping... when am back to Slovakia.

Baby orchid

Hello all,
today I would like to introduce my keiki as a independent baby orchid. I was in fact forced to separate keiki for a mother plant. As you probably remember I took mother orchid from a friend in very bad condition. So I managed to grow keiki as long as possible but now mother orchid started to struggle and also keiki started to wilt so I had no choice but to divide them. My keiki has got 3 leaves as one dried out and 3 roots, one 4 cm the other two about 2 maybe 3 cm. So the roots are still to short but there is a chance that keiki will survive. I will keep you posted with an update about my keiki.

Wedding number 3

What am I going to wear?
Our lovely friends Sam and Jade are getting married...

My accessories for a day :) I love this medium size clutch bag , maybe it is last season, but for me, it is the one, I will keep for a long time or for ever ? ;) It really does go with most of things. My stretchy diamante belt  and longish chain necklace with a rose and a bird on it will carry the romantic style I have in mind for this special occasion.
One day when I was having look in H&M , this little dress made an impression on me !! I can't even exactly describe the colour of it...Best I can do is...I think it is cream with very light pink undertone.
It was a sale item too, which was even better ;)

And here I am all ready to go to celebrate a special day and have fun with my friends ...
My Darling is waiting.
The venue is great. Imagine ...wedding on a lake with many swans in it is quite a romantic place to be getting married.
Celebrities of today. ;D Here they are, let me introduce you to Sam and Jade and their little treasure Peggy.
Seriously, I am not joking. These figurines were made by brides Mum, and they were done in detail. She worked so hard on it and made Groom and Bride look almost identical. What a talent !
We managed a cup of tea in between red wine.
In English style ;D
