Tuna salad :)

Hello, it is beautiful Pepper's Monday.
My husband asked me few days ago to make him a nice tuna salad. I know he is not the biggest fan of tuna, but I thought i will give it a go and try to make it tasty.

So I tried  and tried to mix different ingredients and I made it. My husband loves it and keeps asking for more.
To make this tuna salad you will need:

- tuna chunks in spring water, 1 tin
- fusilli pasta, 250 g
- 1 pepper, preferably red
- black olives, 185 g
- 4 sun dried tomatoes
- cherry tomato, 200 g
- dry basil
- olive oil, 3 tbs
- balsamic vinegar 1 tbs
-salt and pepper
To prepare your salad you need to boil your pasta. Olive oil and balsamic vinegar mix well together  and add to your pasta. Stir it well. Next grill your red pepper, until soft and peel the skin off. Cut the pepper, dried tomatoes in cubes or stripes, olives and cherry tomatoes into half also drain your tuna. Add all the ingredients to your pasta, mix it all well, add salt, pepper and basil. That is it. Simple and quick. Enjoy

The gold that is all around within natural goodness can be found.

Hi there ;)
I think , we could do with one more recipe for a Healthy Cocktail N.3 :D
This is a bit different from the other two.
My special ingredient for this one are Dandelions.
They are growing this time of year and they are everywhere around us...Not many people know about how great this flowers are.  Many gardeners try to get rid of Dandelions as apparently they spoil beautiful green grass. I don't think they do.
They are beautiful yellow colour, so it makes you feel like sun is shining even though its not ;) Later on they change into white fluffy snow balls ;) so it feels like winter ;) joking. Am sure you all recognize them.
Dandelions are great source of vitamins and minerals. They are cleansing blood and liver. They help to get rid of acne , lower blood sugar and cholesterol .They melt away kidney stones and so much more...It is the best source of  Lecithin in the world. It contains all 8 amino acids. What is better than that!? You can get all you need in the most natural way imaginable...without pills. It gets into your blood stream so much faster...
You can use all plant. Dandelion leafs are great in the salad also. The plant is a bit bitter, so I prefer it in my juice... You need to eat Dandelions fresh straight away you picked them, to get the most of their health properties ..or juice them as soon as you bring them home ...

You will need for 2 glasses : 15 stinging nettles
                                                1 lime
                                                1 orange
                                                1 satsuma
                                                2 apples
                                               10 leafs of Dandelions
                                                6 Dandelion flowers with stems

Juice it all together.
You will come up with this lime colour Healthy Cocktail.
Give it a go and let me know, how did you like my recipe ;)

An idea for quick breakfast

Hi everyone!

One day  I had enough of boring porridge with milk and I came up with an idea to use boiling water instead of milk and put yogurt with fruit corner (Muller) on the top. This is so easy and quick to preper, very tasty and good for you, good to start your day. Yesterday I added banana  and was even better and filled me up for long time.

I put 5 tbsp of porridge, small glass of boiling water and 1 yogurt.

After adding water to the porridge you have to leave it for couple minutes to soak...

and the last ingredient...yogurt.

Yummy Yummy

St. Catherine's Hill - exploring South of England

Hi there..
Wow it is Tuesday again...I really feel like time flies so quickly this year...April is gone...and I hope April showers too;)
We had a first May bank holiday and I was off work. So goood. My Darling and me wanted to go walking somewhere nice. We decided St. Catherine's Hill in Winchester would be great place to visit. We haven't been there for few years. First surprise was the new wide cycle path.
We kept walking, admiring  yellow fields, and there it was St. Catherine's Hill. :)
Look at this Meg Pie...he seems really comfortable on the back of that cow...What a strange friendship.
So beautiful ....
We walked up to St. Catherine's Hill up these steps.....I lost count...have no idea how many there are.....That was good exercise though ;)
The view is beautiful. You can see Winchester afar. This is church at St. Cross. Another place on the list to visit...I had to zoom in...to get it that close ;D
At the top of the St. Catherine's Hill you will come across this MAZE.
We will be back exploring , but on our bikes next time....I am curious where will the cycle path take us ? ;)
If you ever come to visit Winchester, please walk up St. Catherine's Hill . It is so worth seeing Winchester from above... just like birds do :)
I will take you around Winchester , hopefully next time...can't promise ...if not the next time...one day I will....Pepper already put a few pictures in her blog-Where am I, from this old and historical town...
See you next Tuesday.
Have a wonderful week...

Sauce for salmon

Every fish without the right sauce tastes quite bland. Good addition to fish could be sauce. There is so many options for sauce for salmon. Salmon itself is quite easy to prepare so is the sauce, you just have to decide what you like and mix it together. Don't be afraid to try new things. Today I wanted to try citrus sauce, for what you will need:
- 120 ml of yoghurt
- 2 tbs of olive oil
- 1 tbs of grated lime zest
- 1 tbs of grated orange zest
- 1 tbs of lime juice
- 1 tbs of orange juice
- 1/2 tbs of honey
- salt
Mix it all together and it is ready to serve.

Enjoy

One step or one-hundred words

... and all of a sudden you are called mama!

There are so many premieres with your child: first smile, first time holding their head without support, first time rolling, first time eating solids, first time sitting up, first time saying mama and of course the first steps. They are a big step for mama too because it means one step closer to independence. Of course that's what it's all about but letting go is not easy.
My mini-me is one and a half year old but she is still not walking. It is scary because I start thinking there might be something wrong with her. I start comparing - well I guess because, like it or not, mums are comparing all the time - but I also start searching for reasons. I'm pretty sure Toblerone is just late - my mum used to say I preferred talking instead of walking when I was a toddler too. It must actually be true then: children are either quick walker or early talker. Our little one is talking all day she even started singing her nursery rhymes. A few days ago our mini-flavour started to pull herself up. And now she already wants to climb up the sofa. Once she discovers how to keep her balance she'll be running around. Happy exciting and stressful days to come. I'm looking forward to that :-)!
