Hello, it is beautiful Pepper's Monday.
My husband asked me few days ago to make him a nice tuna salad. I know he is not the biggest fan of tuna, but I thought i will give it a go and try to make it tasty.
So I tried and tried to mix different ingredients and I made it. My husband loves it and keeps asking for more.
To make this tuna salad you will need:
- tuna chunks in spring water, 1 tin
- fusilli pasta, 250 g
- 1 pepper, preferably red
- black olives, 185 g
- 4 sun dried tomatoes
- cherry tomato, 200 g
- dry basil
- olive oil, 3 tbs
- balsamic vinegar 1 tbs
-salt and pepper
To prepare your salad you need to boil your pasta. Olive oil and balsamic vinegar mix well together and add to your pasta. Stir it well. Next grill your red pepper, until soft and peel the skin off. Cut the pepper, dried tomatoes in cubes or stripes, olives and cherry tomatoes into half also drain your tuna. Add all the ingredients to your pasta, mix it all well, add salt, pepper and basil. That is it. Simple and quick. Enjoy

Mmh, sounds yummy again. Is it difficult to peel peppers? I always avoid peeling peppers or tomatoes... Cinnamon x. (P.S. I cooked that lovely spinach twice now and I added pasta last time. Still very tasty ;-) )
ReplyDeleteIt is not difficult to peel pepper if you keep it in the oven long enough. I'm glad you like spinach again:), I'm sure there is more choice to try make this spinach with.
