Pirates of the flat corridor

Getting ready for the Pirate wedding of the year ;)

We had our friends around Mr and Mrs B. for an Easter meal.We were already serving the food as pirates :) , in style ;D . Our traditional Ham, with all the trimmings and I baked my own sweet bread with raisins, beetroot seasoned with horseradish is so good with this meal. Our friends also brought Pizza.

They made themselves into pirates too and we went out of the door excited and laughing a lot at how funny we all looked. We shut the door and realized none of us had a key !! :(
Fun was over !
No ,not really. My Darling and me exchanged few words, but I said :  "We are going to have fun tonight and tomorrow,we can have an argument. " So, that was that !
We enjoyed ourselves, it was so funny and surreal to be seeing people around dancing and having fun as pirates. I couldn't stop laughing as guys had theirs mustache's on and they colored few of their teeth black. My Darling went as Captain Jack Sparrow .He had a wig and hat on also.People kept saying he looked like Johny Depp. I turned into a gypsy girl later as I replaced my hat by a scarf,it was easier to be dancing in it ;)  Wedding was great fun! Few pirate songs we danced in absolute madness!
Unforgettable! We were talking about it all day and probably will be talking about it for weeks ;D

We spent the night at our friends house. I wasn't sleeping because I was already thinking of all different solutions how to open the door ,to get back home and get on with our plans for the Easter Sunday....
Believe me! Nothing went to plan...Can you imagine us two trying to break in to our own flat dressed as pirates !? We spent some time in the corridor. Well , that was not that funny at the time. Now, when day is over and we know we have got our keys back in my handbag and My darling in his pocket, even being out, it is a different feeling ;) Before we went out for evening family meal we checked on our keys a few times ;).....
Pirates of the corridor are safe home now, watching funny videos from last night....

  1. Oh no, door closed and keys inside. Not a great start to an evening out. But what about that pirates wedding, was it a proper wedding or just a celebration? Sounds fun though ;-). How was your Easter Sunday? Cinnamon x

  3. We locked our keys in a flat twice. Once cost us 90 pounds to open the door. Second time Macgyver turned up and open the door for free :)
