Stinging nettles season still on ;D

This is the stinging nettles heaven ? Probably not ....if you fall into it ;)
But if you safely pick some and use them in your cooking , that is a heaven for your health. Do you remember when I posted my blog " Healthy cocktail, before naughty cocktails " That is where I wrote a bit more about this special herb.

 The funny story starts here: I met this girl from Romania ...we went out few times only. Last time we seen each other, I said to her I am free on Monday morning, we can meet again if you like to. We can go walking together. I told her I need to pick some stinging nettles...so I don't mind showing her around. She was stunned !! Stinging nettles? She said " I can't believe it !! " She thought I am not of this world, as she never met anyone apart from me, who would like to pick and use stinging nettles in their diet. We had to laugh...Really, couple of witches going to the woods picking stinging nettles !?

My new Romanian friend told me about how she cooks stinging nettles soup. I told her about how we recently made Quiche with bacon, cheese and stinging nettles in it...But I still think,you get most of the nutrients if you use it in your juice ;) So we gave each other few tips...

On the way back we stopped the car for this beautiful creature...

This is my recipe for this absolutely amazingly nutritious cocktail N.2

You need for 2 portions :  7-8 medium carrots

                                         3 medium sized beetroots 

                    1 lemon 

                    2 apples

                                7-8 stinging nettles 

Juice it all and share between two glasses ;D

Enjoy just like we do :) very very tasty........
