Wine tasting is good fun...
We tried some nice white wines , some of them were from Germany, Argentina, California....
The one in the blue bottle was a favorite one, as it was very fruity and light to drink...You could have more of this wine, before you would get heavy feet ;)
We tried a Rose too,
We tasted few.
Some lighter, some so strong , one of them so mature , that was in oak barrel for 5 years, before they put it in the bottle. We found out few things about wine, when grapes are picked and about the whole process ...how it gets from the vineyards to the bottle.
This wine is naturally made. There are no preservatives and no colour added. So all sweetness comes from the grapes. So much better for you, than just some brands sold at supermarkets...

It was really interesting to get to know a bit more about wine...
From now on, I think I will look more carefully at the label.
Wine tasting is something I'd really love to do as well. I prefer red wines too but although I've got a wine book (somewhere in the house?) I don't really know a lot about wines. So before I get a bottle next time I'll ask you what to look for. But can you give me a few tips now? Cinnamon x
ReplyDeleteIt all is about taste and what you look for, when you are choosing a bottle of wine...My tip for you Cinnamon is, to get a good bottle of wine when you go to Germany on your holiday :) and bring some back with you for us ...;)
ReplyDeleteCheeky me ;D Apparently, German people prefer white, fruity and light wine, so they can drink more of it...Do you think is that true ?
